These digital prints are produced from high resolution scans of film used in the days when Kodachrome was king. I used a 35mm Nikon F on hikes and campouts over much of California and Hawaii. As Mt. Tam unveiled stunning images, slowly year after year I was able to assemble this collection. Many of these photos reach back many decades and can never be seen again. Notice the ultra green “Hillside Glory 1975”, exhibiting luscious new growth after a fire burned the hillside the previous fall. Sometimes a special photo can take years between shoots, like “Snowy Tam 2006.”
